I shot this 4 years ago and just started playing with it today. There are so many ways that I like what Sarah is doihg that I had a difficult time picking which post processing to post. So I thought I would run this one up the flag pole to see is anyone salutes it.

First of all, I absolutely LOVE this shot!  But I just wanted to state that I go through the same torture with each of my photos as well.  "How far do you take it?"  What I always struggle with is trying to use all of the same techniques that you have used here - but at the same time, trying to keep it seemingly real.  There's a very fine line between it staying a photograph and becoming a painting.  For me, I think that this one crossed over into a painting.

Now... there's nothing wrong with that!  As I said, I LOVE this photo!  But I think in terms of how MY work will fit into a book at some point.  Will all of the photos be consistent?  Or will one stick out like a sore thumb being inconsistent with the rest of the pack.  So I try to keep the post work within a certain framework of boundaries.  I like to see the overall photo almost unrealistically tack sharp - yet at the same time I don't want to lose the soft, subtle tonality of the girl's beauty body and skin.  It's a delicate balance.

Hope that was of use...!

Thank you for liking this image and I appreciate you comment very much.

I am very fond of it also.

I understand it when you speak of it crossing over to the feeling of a painting as I feel the same way.

I plan to print it out 12 x 18 and enter it in shows and galleries.

Unlike you I have no desire of publishing my work but I do understand what you mean when you speak of it for your own work and I wish you luck and success with it.

Good luck with your shows and galleries!  My work doesn't really fit into that genre.  No one is going to hang one of my photos on their wall.  HA!  They just don't work in that way.  But mine DO suit coffee table books - so that has always been my aim.

I wish that you would reconsider doing a book, though.  I would certainly buy it.  I don't buy prints from anyone - but I have over 300 nude/erotic photography books - many of which are simple Blurb books.  I cherish them all.

BTW... due to an arbitrary and unfair suspension for 30 days by some anonymous and cowardly administrator who won't respond, I no longer post on deviantART.  I refuse.  They took down all of my photo descriptions and models' credits - which have not been restored - and I'm not going to bother putting them back up.  They deleted many of my works even though they were not pornographic.  They even took down my biography (which I did restore).  This is the THIRD time they've done all of this to me.  So I'm finished here.  This site is run by immature children only interested in anime and cosplay.

But be sure to keep a watch on me here for future announcements about my book projects!  I will announce them here.  But I'm now only posting all of my new work over on tumblr: www.kurtkrueger.tumblr.com/arc… So if you're interested in following my latest work and book projects, please go there and follow me.  Oh... and be sure to leaves "likes" and notes, too!

Please also check out my latest book "LIPS":www.blurb.com/b/3767749-lips

Thanks - and hope to see you on tumblr!
